Los Altos, CA, Sep 3, 2026: MaxVal Group, Inc., a leading provider of intellectual property (IP) management software and technology-enabled services, announced that Michael Flannery joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
In this role, Michael leads MaxVal’s global sales strategy, expands strategic customer relationships, and drives revenue growth across the company’s portfolio of IP management technology and services. His appointment strengthens MaxVal’s leadership team as the company continues to support the evolving needs of corporate IP departments and law firms worldwide.
Michael brings extensive commercial leadership experience across the intellectual property, legal technology, and technology-enabled services industries. Prior to joining MaxVal, he served as Vice President of IP Solutions at Clarivate and CPA Global, where he worked closely with corporate IP departments and law firms to improve IP operations through technology, data, process improvements, and specialized services.
Throughout his career, Michael has built and led sales and solutions consulting organizations, developed go-to-market strategies, and established long-term customer partnerships. His deep understanding of the IP industry, combined with his customer-centric approach, positions him to help MaxVal address the operational and strategic priorities of IP teams.
Michael’s appointment reflects MaxVal’s continued focus on strengthening its global market presence and deepening relationships with corporate IP departments and law firms. His experience in commercial leadership, IP technology, and strategic customer engagement will support MaxVal’s efforts to expand its reach and help customers address increasingly complex IP management requirements.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Michael will focus on aligning MaxVal’s technology and services portfolio with customer priorities, identifying new growth opportunities, and building long-term partnerships across the global IP ecosystem.
Michael studied Business Administration and Management at the University of Maine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from Salem State University.
