Alibaba Seeks a Patent for a Method for Sharing Data Across Groups

U.S. patent application, US20210019705, discloses a method for sharing data across groups. The method includes creating, by a cross-group collaboration platform, a collaboration project, determining groups participating in the project to designate the groups as project collaborators and sharing collaboration data amongst the project collaborators.

Intel Pursues a Patent for Group-Based Data Transfer in Machine-to-Machine Systems

U.S. patent application, US20210021673, relates to a device for facilitating group-based data transfer. The device is configured to receive signals from multiple devices in it’s proximity, determine an identifier for each of the devices, determine a subset of devices that share a group with the particular device, and converge the data received from the subset of devices based on the particular group. Apple Wants a Patent Relating to a Technique for a User to Switch Between Accessories

U.S. patent application, US20210021699, discusses a method for allowing a user to automatically switch between wearable items that are paired to an electronic device. The method includes detecting removal of a first wearable item from the user’s body, the attachment of a second wearable item to the user’s body and transmitting messages from the wearable items to the electronic device. IBM Files a Patent Application for a Method of Rating and Determining an Overall Viewership Value Based on User Engagement

U.S. patent application, US20210021898, discloses a method for determining a media content rating and an overall viewership value based on eye gazing data. The method includes tracking the eye gazing data of media content users, analyzing the tracked data, and displaying a user-inserted rating of the media content together with the analyzed data for each user.

Microsoft Seeks a Patent for a Method of Recommending Meeting Spaces Using Automatically-Generated Visit Data and Geo-Tagging of the Meeting Spaces

U.S. patent application, US20210019709, describes a method for recommending candidate meeting rooms. The method includes capturing visit data for each attendee from a group profile and identifying the geo-position of each of the candidate meeting rooms using a crowdsourced operation. Boston Scientific Seeks a Patent for a Hemorrhoids Treatment Device that Uses Suction

U.S. patent application, US20210015489, describes a device for the treatment of hemorrhoids that includes a plunger to induce suction, a trigger coupled to the plunger to generate suction that draws the tissue into a hollow member, and a tissue treatment mechanism with a ligation band for encircling the received tissue. The figure below shows the device for ligating the hemorrhoids.

U.S. patent application, US20210017266, discusses a method for treating diabetic macular edema through the intraocular injection of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) antagonist with a 12-week interval regimen.

Merck Files a Patent for Phosphonate Linkers

U.S. patent application, US20210015930, relates to phosphonate-based linkers comprising a monophosphonate, diphosphonate, triphosphonate, or tetraphosphonate group (“phosphonate group”) for delivering compounds with passive cell permeability into a cell, where the phosphonate group facilitates cellular retention of the compound. Medtronic Files Patent Applications for a Deflectable Catheter and a Navigation System
