The device includes a collapsible capsule that improves the visibility of a target site and maneuverability when placing multiple clips. Roche Wants a Patent for a Postpartum Preeclampsia Prediction Device
U.S. patent application, US20200378981, discloses a device that predicts the risk of a female subject to develop preeclampsia related adverse outcomes after delivery of baby. The device incorporates an algorithm that calculates the ratio of biomarkers, like Placental Growth Factor (PlGF) and soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 (sFlt-1).
Novartis Files a Patent Application for Sustained Release Delivery Systems with Traceless Linkers
U.S. patent application, US20200376129, discusses a sustained release drug delivery system for delivering biologically active agents, having primary or secondary amines, or a ring nitrogen atom of an azaheteroaryl ring, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, for treating macular degeneration.

The sensors capture various gestures of the user to provide suitable feedback for each detected behavior event. Mastercard Pursues a Patent for a System and Method for Approving Transactions Based on Biometric Data
U.S. patent application, US20200380527, discloses a system and method for processing transactions based on biometric data for authenticating consumers to payment accounts. The system and method includes receiving biometric data and a payment account credential, appending a biometric score and an indication of a biometric to an authorization request associated with the transaction, and transmitting the authorization request to an issuer. Intel Wants a Patent on Embedding Objects into an Augmented Reality Scene
U.S. patent application, US20200380779 relates to a technique of embedding a 3D object model within a 3D scene using image segmentation. The method includes determining object mask images for cameras trained on the 3D scene, projecting 3D points from a 3D object model to image planes of the cameras, and determining a position and orientation of the model in the scene. IBM Seeks a Patent for a Blockchain Verification Technique Using Non-Consecutive Blocks
